At the recent "Made by Google" event, Google officially introduced the latest Pixel 10 smartphone series, including 4 phone models.
The highlight of this year's Pixel generation lies in the focus on upgrading the internal configuration and deeply integrating artificial intelligence (AI) features, while the external design remains the same as the previous version.

The Pixel 10 series continues to maintain its signature design style with rounded corners, flat edges, and a horizontal floating camera cluster on the back. This familiarity shows that Google is focusing on user experience through performance and software.
Powered by the Tensor G5 chip and superior AI
All Pixel 10 models are equipped with Google's own Tensor G5 chip. According to the company, Tensor G5 delivers 34% faster overall processing performance and 60% faster AI task processing compared to the previous generation Tensor G4.
This is an important foundation for Google to deeply integrate AI features into the user experience.
Notably, the basic Pixel 10 version has been upgraded to a triple camera cluster on the back, instead of a dual camera as before. This camera cluster includes a 48MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10.8MP telephoto camera that supports 5x optical zoom.

In terms of display, the Pixel 10 models remain the same size. The Pixel 10 and 10 Pro have 6.3-inch displays (the Pixel 10 Pro has a higher resolution), while the Pixel 10 Pro XL has a 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 2992 x 1344.
RAM capacity has also been significantly upgraded: Pixel 10 has 12GB RAM, 128/256GB storage. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL duo are equipped with 16GB RAM, with storage options from 128GB to 1TB. The increased RAM is to ensure smooth processing of AI features directly on the device, minimizing data sending out.
The camera cluster on the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are both 3 cameras, with a 50MP main camera, 48MP wide-angle and telephoto cameras, supporting 5x optical zoom.

Pixel 10 Pro Fold: More durable, bigger battery
Alongside the traditional Pixel 10 series, Google also introduced the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, its second-generation foldable phone. The overall design remains the same as the first version, but durability has been significantly improved with IP68 water and dust resistance (allowing immersion in water at a depth of 1.5m for 30 minutes).

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold has a 6.4-inch outer display and an 8-inch main display when expanded. It is equipped with a Tensor G5 chip, 16GB of RAM and storage options from 256GB to 1TB. The battery capacity has also been upgraded to 5,015mAh, higher than the 4,650mAh of the previous generation.

Comprehensive AI ecosystem on Pixel 10
Google has integrated a series of advanced AI features on the Pixel 10 series, bringing a smarter and more convenient experience to users. Notable features include the AI chatbot Gemini, which allows quick answers to questions; the feature of searching for information through screenshots; and Pixel Studio, which helps create images from descriptive text.

AI image processing features have also been greatly upgraded, allowing users to remove unnecessary objects, enlarge the scene with AI, and a smarter "Add me" feature to add people to group photos.
Two notable new AI features are Magic Cue, which proactively suggests actions based on context (for example, looking up flight information when calling an airline), and Camera Coach, which offers suggestions to improve the photo you're taking.
Notably, Google has removed the physical SIM slot on the Pixel 10 series in the US market, only using eSIM. Users can use 2 eSIMs at the same time and store up to 8 eSIMs on the device.
The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL will officially hit shelves on August 28, starting at $799, $999, and $1,199, respectively. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be available later, on October 9, starting at $1,799.
