The North and South will have dry weather, favorable for outdoor activities, while some provinces in the Central region are forecast to have rain.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the coming days, the North will be deep in a weakened cold air mass, with humidity below 60%, dry sunny weather, and foggy nights and mornings. Air pollution is at a high level due to dust not being able to diffuse.
The US Accuweather website predicts that Hanoi will have a temperature of around 18-27 degrees Celsius on December 31, and by early 2024, it will drop to 24-25 degrees Celsius during the day and 16-18 degrees Celsius at night. High points over 1,500 meters above sea level such as Sa Pa (Lao Cai) will fluctuate between 10-18 degrees Celsius.
The Central region has a differentiation of weather according to terrain. The weather in the coming days in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh provinces is similar to the North, with the lowest temperature being 15-18 degrees Celsius and the highest being 24-25 degrees Celsius. The area from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai, due to the impact of weak easterly winds, will have showers at night and in the morning. The lowest temperature from Quang Binh to Thua Thien Hue is 18-21 degrees Celsius and the highest is 22-25 degrees Celsius.
From Da Nang to Quang Ngai in the coming days, night temperature will be 19-22 degrees, day temperature will be 26-28 degrees; from Binh Dinh to Binh Thuan, little rain, sunny weather 28-31 degrees Celsius.

In the South, on New Year's Day, there will be fog in the morning and sunny weather during the day, 30-33 degrees Celsius. In the Central Highlands , there will also be little rain, with the lowest temperature being 17-20 degrees Celsius and the highest being 27-30 degrees Celsius.
