On March 1, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the Prime Minister's decision and the Minister of Public Security's decision on personnel work.

General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, announced Decision No. 397 of the Prime Minister on appointing Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung, Director of Hanoi City Police, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

Also at the ceremony, Major General Pham Quang Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Ministry of Public Security, announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on assigning Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Deputy Director of Hanoi Police, to run the city police.

General Luong Tam Quang highly appreciated the achievements and contributions of Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung to the tasks of ensuring political security, fighting and preventing crimes, maintaining social order and safety... in the area and building the Capital Police force to be increasingly clean and strong.

According to the Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung is a well-trained officer with many years of experience in the public security sector, having held many leadership positions in units under the Ministry of Public Security and local public security before being appointed by the Prime Minister as Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

The new Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions shared that this is a great responsibility, as well as an opportunity for him to continue to contribute to the country and people.

Mr. Trung pledged to work with the leadership of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions to focus their intelligence, efforts, and experience; promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility to lead, direct, and operate all aspects of the Ministry's activities comprehensively and effectively.
