According to the report of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong province on the current status of operations and proposed arrangement plan for Hai Duong Medical College, the current land area of the school is still insufficient compared to the regulations of vocational education institutions, the school's training equipment only meets the minimum equipment list, and there is no modern equipment to meet the needs of teaching and learning.
The school does not have funds to purchase equipment, revise training programs, develop question sets, textbooks, etc. In the past 3 years, a large number of key staff, resource staff, and high-quality lecturers of the school have transferred jobs.
For many years, Hai Duong Medical College has lacked enrollment targets, and many high- quality staff and lecturers have transferred jobs.
At the same time, the school's enrollment work is facing difficulties, and enrollment results in recent years have not met the planned targets. Based on the current situation, Hai Duong Medical College has proposed a number of arrangement options.
Through the opinions of the delegates analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of each option, Mr. Luu Van Ban, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, agreed with the option of merging Hai Duong Medical College with Hai Duong Vocational College.
Mr. Luu Van Ban also requested the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee Office to complete the report to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and report to the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee according to regulations.
