Nong Cong Town was established on February 5, 1987, currently has a total area of ​​11.56 hectares, 3,684 households with more than 16,000 people. In 2023, the average income per capita will reach 84.9 million VND; the poverty rate will be 1.24%.

In the spirit of equality, voluntariness and mutual development, Nam Phuoc town and Nong Cong town signed a memorandum of understanding on twinning development cooperation with the aim of strengthening the relationship of exchange, cooperation and mutual assistance; promoting and exploiting the potential and strengths of each locality, especially in economic development, building civilized urban areas... contributing to promoting rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Through twinning and experience exchange, it will contribute to better promoting the leadership role of Party committees, the management capacity of the government, and the advisory and implementation work of departments, branches and organizations for the tasks of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in each locality.

On this occasion, Nam Phuoc town gave 12 gifts to poor households and households in difficult circumstances (1 million VND/gift) and 11 bicycles to students of Nong Cong town.
