The contest rules include audience voting to guide contestants to not only focus on expertise and performance techniques, but also be more aware of creating and perfecting their public image.
The jury team "weighing the scales" of the final round includes: People's Artist Quang Vinh - Chairman of the Hanoi Music Association, People's Artist Quoc Hung - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, musician Duc Trinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association, People's Artist Mai Hoa, People's Artist Thanh Lam, People's Artist Tan Minh, Doctor of Music Anh Tho.
In the final night, each contestant sang 2 songs, including 1 song about Hanoi and 1 song of their choice in musical style (classical chamber music, folk music and pop music).
The young, talented faces appearing at this year's competition brought many outstanding performances.

People's Artist Quang Vinh - Chairman of the Hanoi Music Association, Head of the Jury - commented that this year's contestants, besides the folk and chamber music genres, which have maintained a stable and safe level, without any breakthroughs, the light music genre has been more prominent in both quality and number of contestants participating.
"Overall, this year's Hanoi Singing Contest has many more young faces participating, bringing to the contest new breaths and new shapes of the contemporary stage.
And above all, it is the widespread spread of Hanoi Singing to students and especially the gathering of many students majoring in Vocal Music in large training institutions and professional art units.
Even champions and runners-up in other famous competitions have participated in Hanoi Singing", People's Artist Quang Vinh said.
The Head of the Jury also shared that this year, there are contestants who know how to choose music genres and songs that suit their personal conditions to maximize their strengths, along with skillfully combining stage elements to increase the quality of their performance.
However, there are also contestants who have not prepared carefully from the beginning when choosing the music genre or choosing songs that are not really suitable or not really interested in the inner feelings and performance style, so sometimes they have a good voice but the performance cannot be a quality music product.

Performing the song Sang Song (composer Trinh Gia Nhi) - a work by musician Trinh Gia Nhi - contestant Dang Ngoc Anh also won First Prize in the chamber music category.
Singing Under the porch (Tran Khanh Ly), contestant Pham Thi Huyen won First Prize in the folk music category.
Contestant Ninh Trinh Quang Minh "won" First Prize in the light music category with the song Night Flood (Duong Cam).
In addition to the special prize and first prize, the final night also awarded second and third prizes in music genres, the prize for the best contestant singing about Hanoi, the prize for the most impressive performance style, the prize for the most favorite contestant on the digital platform, the promising prize, and the prize for the most favorite contestant through voting on the Hanoi On app.
