Can Tho Youth with many projects to help people

On October 15, the Vietnam Youth Union of Can Tho City held a meeting to review the 68th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's Traditional Day (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2024), and at the same time honor exemplary Union officials and honor the exemplary Filial Son of Can Tho City in 2024.

Nearly 200 delegates including leaders of Can Tho City, standing members of the Association through the periods and Can Tho Youth Union members attended the program.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Tu Thien - Deputy Secretary of Can Tho City Youth Union, Chairman of Can Tho City Vietnam Youth Union, said that on this occasion, Can Tho City Vietnam Youth Union honored and recognized the outstanding contributions of young people who have made many contributions to the work of the Union and the youth movement.

Accordingly, the program's organizing committee honored 13 outstanding individual Union officials with outstanding achievements in Union work and youth movements; 11 outstanding examples of achieving the title of Filial Son of Can Tho City in 2024.

In addition, many projects and works for the benefit of the community have also been implemented to help the lives of Can Tho people and the career and career paths of young people become more meaningful and practical, such as the inauguration of two Hope bridges in Vinh Thanh district and Co Do district (Can Tho city).
