Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phu Xuan Vinh holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Long Phu for the 2025 - 2030 term; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Hoa holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Regiment 892.

On the same day, the Defense Command of Region 2 - Long Xuyen organized a ceremony to launch the peak emulation campaign "Raising the August red flag - competing for 3 firsts". The main contents focus on: Highest will, awareness, responsibility; performing political tasks with the highest results; building discipline, complying with the law, and strictest discipline; reforming military administration, breaking through innovation, creativity, digital transformation and implementing the "Digital Education for All" movement with the highest results.
