Khanh Hoa - The historic days of March have returned, and people from all over the world still come to offer incense to commemorate the heroes and martyrs at the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial.
The Gac Ma Soldier Memorial is located in the middle of the coastal road from Cam Ranh International Airport towards Nha Trang City. During these days of March, this place attracts many visitors. The Gac Ma Soldier Memorial Area was built on an area of over 25,000 square meters, on the east side of Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, in Cam Hai Dong Commune, Cam Lam District, to commemorate the 64 Vietnamese naval soldiers who heroically sacrificed their lives on March 14, 1988 to protect the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland's sea and islands. According to the Management Board of the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial, in 2023, there were more than 440 delegations with more than 45,200 visitors visiting the memorial.
