Training to raise awareness about physical development and stature of Vietnamese people

The training course was attended by nearly 100 trainees who are officers working in the field of physical education and sports of the Department of Culture, Science and Information, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports; cultural and social officials of communes and towns; officials working in physical education of the Department of Education and Training of Dakrong district; physical education teachers of primary and secondary schools in Dakrong.

In the training program taking place from May 21 to 25, 2025, trainees are equipped with basic knowledge about the Party's viewpoints and guidelines on physical training and sports in the current period; the role of physical training and sports in the development of physical strength and stature for everyone; nutrition for the development of physical strength and stature for everyone; first aid skills, prevention of drowning and injuries; rules and methods of organizing competitions, refereeing in football, volleyball, stick pushing, and petanque.

Based on the content they have grasped, the trainees applied it in practice and advised local leaders and units to develop content and programs to implement the Master Plan on Developing Vietnamese People's Physical Strength and Stature for the 2016-2030 period, achieving high results, contributing to improving health, improving stature and comprehensively developing the physical, mental and intellectual aspects of the people in the province to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.

At the same time, thoroughly understand among cadres and people to promote propaganda throughout society about developing physical strength and stature of Vietnamese people into a movement of the whole society to take care of developing physical strength and stature of people.

Incorporated into the training program, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a U11 children's football tournament to create a healthy and useful playground, developing physical qualities for students. The tournament had more than 40 players from 4 football teams in Dakrong district including: A Bung Primary and Secondary School, A Ngo Primary and Secondary School, A Vao Primary and Secondary School and Ta Rut Primary School.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented 5 gifts to the People's Committee of Ta Rut commune and 4 schools.
