Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee, was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Can Tho City Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
On the afternoon of February 10, at Can Tho City Party Committee, a conference was held to implement the Secretariat's decision on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Secretariat decided that Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Mr. Do Trong Hung (right), Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee.
The Secretariat assigned and appointed Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
At the same time, Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen was introduced to be elected as Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, 56 years old, hometown: Yen Phuong commune, Yen Dinh district, Thanh Hoa province; professional qualification: Master of Economics; Political qualification: Senior.
Before being appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee, he held many positions, such as Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Hau Giang Province; Chief of Office of the Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Chau Thanh District People's Committee (Hau Giang Province) and Vice Chairman of the Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee.
