On April 14, the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone (Lang Son) announced the temporary suspension of some immigration and import-export activities at Huu Nghi international border gate on April 15, 16 and 17.

The suspension of activities comes from a request for coordination from the People's Government of Pingxiang City (Guangxi, China) to ensure security and order for the 9th Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange program.

Specifically, the Huu Nghi - Huu Nghi Quan international border gate pair temporarily suspends entry and exit at the customs clearance area of ​​landmarks 1116-1117 according to Hanoi time as follows:

- Tuesday (April 15), from 7am - 10am and from 3:30pm - 5:30pm.

- Wednesday (April 16), from 7am - 9am and from 11:30am - 2pm.

- Thursday (April 17), from 7am - 9am and from 12pm - 2pm.

The dedicated freight road in the area of ​​landmarks 1119-1120 temporarily suspends import and export according to Hanoi time as follows:

- Tuesday (April 15), from 7am - 10am and from 4:30pm - 5:30pm.

- Wednesday (April 16), from 7am - 9am and from 12:30pm - 2pm.

- Thursday (April 17), from 7am - 9am and from 1pm - 2pm.

The Huu Nghi - Huu Nghi Quan international border gate pair also temporarily stopped vehicles not carrying goods from passing through the area of ​​markers 1116-1117 from 7:00 a.m. on April 14 to 2:00 p.m. on April 17 (Hanoi time), but allowed them to pass through the area of ​​markers 1119-1120.

For the convenience of businesses, organizations and individuals, from April 15 to April 17, the authorities will extend customs clearance time at Huu Nghi - Huu Nghi Quan international border gate.

Accordingly, the dedicated freight road in the area of ​​landmarks 1119-1120 will operate until 8:00 p.m. (Hanoi time).

Meanwhile, the customs clearance area at landmarks 1116-1117 will be open until 9:00 p.m. (Hanoi time).
