The total working time of the 9th Session is expected to be 37 days in the form of a centralized meeting at the National Assembly House, Hanoi Capital, with some working days arranged on weekends; The Session will be held in 2 phases: Phase 1 from May 5 to May 29; Phase 2 from June 11 to June 28, 2025.

Accordingly, on May 5, the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly will hold a preparatory meeting and officially open at the National Assembly House, Hanoi. This is a historic session with many important decisions, implementing the Resolution of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee such as amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and a number of laws serving the streamlining of the apparatus and organization of two-level local governments.

Reporting at the meeting, Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung said that at this session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on 54 contents on constitutional and legislative work, including 3 resolutions on constitutional work and 51 laws and resolutions on legislative work; 14 groups of contents on socio-economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues. At the same time, there are 8 groups of contents that agencies will send reports to National Assembly deputies for study, as a basis for exercising the right to supervise and consider the contents according to regulations.

Preparations for the 9th Session were carried out very carefully. The National Assembly Standing Committee spent a lot of time giving opinions on the contents of the Session, organizing a Conference of National Assembly Deputies to discuss the contents submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval. The National Assembly Office has strengthened its direction, proactively coordinated with relevant agencies, actively implemented, reviewed, and improved to further improve the quality of service for the Session.

Secretary General and Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung emphasized that the 9th Session is the most special and important session of the 15th National Assembly term, deciding on many historical contents and issues such as: Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, arranging the organization of the 2-level local government apparatus, therefore, information and propaganda work before, during and after the Session needs to be organized and implemented promptly, with full, accurate, objective, honest information, closely following the activities of the National Assembly at the Session to attract the attention of voters and people nationwide./.
