The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission said that in the past 6 months, implementing Plan No. 352, dated January 17, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on implementing Notice No. 581, dated November 30, 2023 of the Central Party Committee's Inspection Commission, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has developed a plan, chaired and coordinated with relevant Party committees at all levels to organize reviews, consider responsibilities, and handle disciplinary actions against violating Party organizations and Party members.

As a result of the review and consideration of responsibilities for party organizations, 8 party organizations violated to the extent that they had to be disciplined. The competent authority issued disciplinary decisions of reprimand to 5 party organizations. 3 party organizations violated to the extent that they had to be disciplined but no disciplinary decisions were issued due to the expiration of the disciplinary statute of limitations. 8 party organizations had shortcomings and violations but not to the extent that they had to be disciplined. They were seriously reviewed and lessons learned.

Regarding individuals, 31 party members violated to the extent that disciplinary action had to be taken, and competent authorities issued disciplinary warnings to 1 party member and reprimanded 17 party members; 13 party members violated to the extent of disciplinary reprimand but no disciplinary decision was issued due to the expiration of the disciplinary statute of limitations; 81 party members had shortcomings and violations but not to the extent of disciplinary action, and were seriously reviewed and deeply learned from their experiences.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Tran Minh Thai affirmed that the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission and Party Committees at all levels will focus on advising the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Party Committees at all levels to implement Notice No. 581 dated November 30, 2023 of the Central Party Committee's Inspection Commission, conduct reviews, consider responsibilities, and discipline organizations and Party members who violate the regulations, while overcoming shortcomings and violations pointed out by the Central Party Committee's Inspection Commission.

“Up to now, the review, consideration of responsibility, and disciplinary action against violating organizations and party members have been completed. The review process has been conducted with the right subjects, content, and procedures, ensuring seriousness, strictness, democracy, and objectivity, promoting the spirit of self-criticism and criticism of party organizations and party members; the correction of shortcomings and violations as required by the Central Inspection Commission is being carried out according to the set roadmap,” said Mr. Thai.

Also according to the report at the conference, since the beginning of the year, Party committees at all levels have inspected 297 Party organizations and 550 Party members, including 214 Party committee members. Through inspection, Party committees at all levels concluded that 14 Party organizations and 22 Party members had violated the law but not to the extent of requiring disciplinary action, while the remaining Party organizations and Party members had limitations and shortcomings.

Regarding inspection when there are signs of violations, the district Party Committee and Party cell inspected signs of violations against 4 Party organizations and 7 Party members. Through inspection, it was concluded that 3 Party members violated to the extent that they had to be disciplined, 4 Party organizations and 3 Party members had limitations, shortcomings, and violations but not to the extent that they had to be disciplined, and had been seriously reviewed to gain experience.

Meanwhile, the Inspection Committees at all levels inspected 15 party organizations and 67 party members when there were signs of violations, including 37 committee members at all levels. The inspection conclusion showed that 8 party organizations and 57 party members had violated; of which 1 party organization and 14 party members had to be disciplined.

Regarding Party discipline enforcement, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission said that Party committees at all levels and Party cells disciplined 6 Party organizations (6 reprimands), 90 Party members who violated the law (71 reprimands, 9 warnings, 3 dismissals, 7 expulsions). The Inspection Commissions at all levels disciplined 2 Party organizations (2 reprimands), 57 Party members (28 reprimands, 15 warnings, 14 expulsions).

In the past 6 months, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has reviewed, considered responsibilities, and disciplined 3 party members of the Nui Thanh District Party Committee, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, and 1 party member of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee. Violations included: compensation, support, and site clearance for the flood and storm prevention project, rescue road, and disaster relief project of Nui Thanh District, phase 1 (phase 2) through Tam Tien commune, which was not in accordance with the law, causing loss of the State budget; and the performance of party member duties. Through review, the above 4 party members violated the level of reprimand, but no disciplinary decision was issued due to the expiration of the disciplinary statute of limitations.
