The leader of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Nam said that in 2023, the whole province will plant 601 hectares of new medicinal plants of all kinds. Of which, there are 258 hectares of cinnamon (238 hectares of pure cultivation and 20 hectares of intercropping), 253 hectares of Ngoc Linh ginseng, 66 hectares of codonopsis pilosula, and 24 hectares of morinda officinalis.

As of May 2024, Quang Nam has a total of 9,863 hectares of medicinal plants of all kinds, of which Ngoc Linh ginseng is more than 1,243 hectares, cinnamon is 5,993 hectares, seven leaves and one flower is more than 2,200 hectares, morinda officinalis is more than 150 hectares, codonopsis pilosula is 186 hectares, cardamom is 36 hectares, ginseng is 42 hectares, tea is 13 hectares...
