Previously, because the birth certificate had not been registered, baby T. was not eligible to enter first grade. Immediately upon receiving the information, the Ward People's Committee directed the Justice - Civil Status Department to coordinate with the Ward Police to urgently verify, process the documents and issue a birth certificate within 24 hours.

The ward leaders directly presented the birth certificate at home, as well as a scholarship of 1 million VND, textbooks, notebooks, uniforms and partial tuition support so that the child could go to school.

Tan Dinh Ward People's Committee also contacted the local primary school to complete the admission procedures for child T.

Ward leaders affirmed that they will continue to review and support cases of children without birth certificates, ensuring that all children have full rights.

“A birth certificate is not just an administrative procedure, but a citizen’s right from birth. Tan Dinh Ward will always accompany and act quickly to protect the legitimate rights of the people, especially children,” the leader of the Ward People’s Committee emphasized.
