The total number of guests staying is estimated at 52,700, up 42% over the same period; the average room occupancy rate is over 62%. Some large-scale hotels such as Sala Grand Tuy Hoa, Rosa Alba Resort, Stelia Beach Resort, Sao Mai Beach Resort, Mandala Hotel & Spa Phu Yen and homestays near the beach reached 100% room occupancy from April 30 to May 2. Tourists to Phu Yen mainly come from the Central Highlands, Hanoi and neighboring provinces.
Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 185 billion VND, up 41% over the same period, of which accommodation revenue is estimated at 30.6 billion VND, up 35% over the same period last year.

The recent holiday also witnessed the boom of domestic tourism nationwide with a total of about 10.5 million visitors, revenue increased sharply compared to the same period last year. According to statistics from the National Tourism Administration, the top provinces and cities with the highest number of visitors and revenue during the holiday were: Ho Chi Minh City with nearly 2 million visitors, revenue of 7,100 billion VND, Thanh Hoa welcomed 1.6 million visitors, revenue of 4,200 billion VND, Nghe An welcomed 1.17 million visitors, revenue of nearly 2,000 billion VND, Quang Ninh 1.1 million, revenue of 3,121 billion VND, Khanh Hoa 1 million visitors, revenue of 1,377 billion VND...
