After more than half of the term of implementing the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, Phu Ninh district is putting on a new look with infrastructure gradually being invested synchronously; the rural economy has positive changes; the material and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved... This is an important stepping stone for the district to soon complete 9/9 criteria in the roadmap to build a new rural district (NTM) by 2025.

Phong Chau town, Phu Ninh district basically completes the criteria of a civilized urban area.

With the determination to reach the advanced NTM target this year, the Tien Phu Commune Party Committee has focused on leading and directing affiliated Party organizations, socio-political organizations and all the people to join hands to complete the advanced NTM criteria and targets. Up to now, the locality has achieved 18/19 criteria, with Zone 9 and Zone 10 achieving model residential areas. Of which, the rate of inter-commune and inter-village roads has reached 100%, ensuring bright - green - clean - beautiful; the rate of hardened alleys and hamlets has reached 94%. The early completion of traffic criteria has contributed to promoting the socio-economy in the area and creating a premise for the locality to speed up the completion of the set goals. Along with focusing on completing infrastructure, improving income and living conditions of the people, the locality has promoted propaganda and mobilized people to voluntarily donate land, contribute labor, support money to build works and build rural roads. Up to now, the people have donated more than 10,000 square meters, hundreds of meters of fences and many other assets to contribute to promoting the progress of building advanced new rural areas in the area.

Comrade Phan Trong Dai - Chairman of Tien Phu Commune People's Committee shared: "Although it is a commune far from the district center, with an area mainly consisting of forests and mountains, Tien Phu Commune Party Committee has united, made efforts, and strived to overcome difficulties, focused on leadership to continue to develop the economy - society, maintain national defense - security, strengthen the work of building the Party, government, Fatherland Front and departments, branches, and socio-political organizations, and improve the material and spiritual life of the people.

In 2023, the average income per capita in the commune will reach 47 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate will decrease to only 1.54%. During the year, the locality also put into operation a high-tech greenhouse model, contributing to the construction of clean agriculture, bringing high-quality agricultural products to consumers. In the coming time, we look forward to the Le My Clean Water Plant project being started and put into operation soon so that the locality can complete the final criterion on the quality of the living environment. Thereby, helping people have access to clean water, ensuring health and meeting the criteria of advanced NTM".

With the determination to build a district that basically meets the new rural standards, Phu Ninh district has resolutely led, directed, and mobilized the entire political system to participate in building new rural areas. In particular, Resolution No. 05-NQ/HU dated December 31, 2020 of the District Party Committee on building Phu Ninh to basically become a new rural district by 2025 along with many important thematic Resolutions was issued. The new rural construction movement has created a widespread influence on all classes of people in the area with the support of many organizations and businesses inside and outside the district to support and join hands. Since the beginning of the term, the total resources to implement the National Target Program on building new rural areas in the district have reached over 3,000 billion VND, of which the socialized resources contributed by the people are worth more than 50 billion VND.

The cultural house of zone 12 was completed with full cultural facilities, contributing to helping Phu Loc commune complete the criteria to reach the advanced NTM commune finish line.

Up to now, Phu Ninh district has basically completed 7/9 criteria for a new rural district; 3 communes including Trung Giap, Phu Loc and Tien Phu have approached the advanced NTM commune, of which Trung Giap commune has completed the dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and recognition; Phu Loc commune has completed the criteria and is currently in the process of appraisal by departments, branches and sectors. The whole district has 6 residential areas recognized as model residential areas; Phong Chau town has also basically completed the civilized urban criteria. In particular, the criteria for building a new rural district are implemented according to the roadmap, contributing to speeding up the progress of Phu Ninh reaching the NTM district finish line sooner than the planned target.

Comrade Ngo Quang Chinh - Vice Chairman of Phu Ninh District People's Council said: Determining the program of building new rural areas is a continuous process, with only a starting point and no ending point, with the goal of comprehensively developing the fields of economy - society, culture, education, health, poverty reduction and social security in the area, in the coming time, with the support of the province and departments, branches, Phu Ninh district will continue to mobilize the entire political system and the people to join in building the new rural district. Promote propaganda to raise awareness in the community about the content, methods, practices, and policies of the State, in which, promoting the role of the people in building new rural areas according to the motto "The State and the People work together". At the same time, create all favorable conditions for businesses to invest in developing agricultural production, industry - handicrafts, rural occupations and services to contribute to promoting socio-economic development in the area, soon helping Phu Ninh complete the goal of building a new rural district by 2025.
