

The program took place with many activities such as cultural exchange, art performance, banh chung wrapping contest, medical examination and treatment, free medicine for local people, organizing folk games imbued with national cultural identity such as gong, carving, throwing, bamboo pole jumping...

Speaking at the program, comrade Nguyen Van De emphasized that promoting the tradition of mutual love, solidarity, support and sharing of the nation, so that no one is left behind, the program "Spring on the border, warm the hearts of the villagers" is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the care and concern of the Party, State, local authorities and Border Guard forces for ethnic minorities in remote, isolated and border areas every time Tet comes and Spring comes.


The program has become a practical annual activity, helping people of all ethnic groups celebrate Tet in a warmer, happier and more complete atmosphere.
Thereby demonstrating the affection and responsibility of the officers and soldiers of the Border Guard towards the people, further embellishing the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers at the Fatherland's border.


At the Program, the Organizing Committee presented 35 gifts to policy households, 8 gifts to prestigious people in Thong Thu commune; 2 Great Solidarity houses, 374 gifts to the poor, 10 bicycles to students in the Program "Helping children go to school - adopted children of Border Guard Station", Project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school", poor students who overcome difficulties to study well.

On this occasion, Que Phong district leaders also presented Tet gifts to border protection forces of Laos.
