On the afternoon of April 19, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Van Thach inspected the construction situation on the entire Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway in Trang Dinh district, Lang Son province and 2 districts: Thach An, Quang Hoa. Accompanying him were leaders of a number of related departments, agencies, sectors and localities.
The working group inspected the progress of many major construction sites along the entire expressway stretching from Chi Minh and Chi Lang communes, Trang Dinh district (Lang Son) to Tuc Nga hamlet, Na Tuc hamlet, Duc Xuan commune, through Dong Khe town, Tan Viet hamlet, Le Lai commune (Thach An) to Na Da hamlet, Hoa Thuan town and other construction sites in Quang Hoa district.
To implement the project, in the two provinces, there are about 825.91 hectares of land that must be recovered according to the approved technical design boundary. Up to now, 784.75 hectares have been handed over, reaching 95.02%. Of which, Cao Bang province handed over 354.74/367.5 hectares, reaching 96.53%; Lang Son province handed over 430.01/458.41 hectares, reaching 93.80%. The construction of resettlement areas and relocation of technical infrastructure of 110kV and 35kV power lines have been actively implemented. For the 0.4kV line, locations that affect construction have been temporarily relocated to ensure construction progress.
The project enterprise deployed 71 construction teams, including 29 road construction teams, 40 bridge construction teams and 2 tunnel construction teams with 1,016 machines and equipment, nearly 2,000 engineers and production workers on the entire route. The total output of the packages to date has reached over 2,400 billion VND, reaching 23.96% of the contract value.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Van Thach requested units and localities to promptly complete and hand over the additional area according to the technical design boundary to ensure the project's construction progress. The contractor will increase machinery, equipment and human resources; take advantage of favorable weather conditions to construct "3 shifts, 4 teams" on all sections and areas that have been handed over; speed up construction at deep excavation and embankment locations that are the project's critical routes, especially at intersections, Bang Giang River overpass (Cao Bang), Ky Cung River overpass (Lang Son); ensure that the project is implemented according to the design, on schedule, with quality and efficiency. Strive to open the technical route by the end of 2025, extending the North-South expressway axis from Cao Bang to Ca Mau according to the direction of the Prime Minister.
