Despite the heavy rain and slippery forest roads, the group still arrived at the scene where many ginseng gardens were damaged by fallen, buried, and broken trees. Initial statistics show that the entire commune has about 4,464 Ngoc Linh ginseng plants from 1 to 5 years old, with total estimated losses of more than 2 billion VND. This is the main source of income for many Xo Dang households, and is expected to be a crop that helps people escape poverty sustainably.

At the scene, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuy shared with the people about the damage, and directed the local government to urgently support people to restore production. Specifically, Mang Ri commune needs to mobilize forces to clear fallen trees, assess the ginseng plants' ability to recover for replanting; at the same time, summarize the damage to report to the province for consideration and support.

Speaking to SGGP Newspaper on July 26, Mr. Pham Xuan Quang, Chairman of Mang Ri Commune People's Committee, said that the locality is urgently implementing the instructions of provincial leaders, focusing on supporting people to restore ginseng gardens and stabilize their livelihoods after the storm.
