Lien Khuong - Prenn Expressway

The project aims to realize the expressway planning from Dau Giay to Lien Khuong approved by the Prime Minister. The main objective is to improve national traffic connectivity, shorten travel time between the Central Highlands and the southern provinces, enhance freight transport capacity, and promote trade.

At the same time, the project also aims to reduce traffic congestion and accidents on National Highway 20; create momentum for socio-economic development, tourism and ensure national security and defense for Lam Dong and the Central Highlands; promote the effectiveness of the Dau Giay - Tan Phu and Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressways, contributing to building Da Lat into a modern urban area.

The Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Construction Investment Project has a total length of 73.62 km. The starting point is in Loc Phat Ward, Bao Loc City (Km 126 + 484.93), coinciding with the end point of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway, which is also in the investment phase; and the end point is in Hiep Thanh Commune, Duc Trong District (Km 200 + 100), connecting with the Lien Khuong - Prenn Expressway.

The scale of the first-class highway is 100 km/h. The completed phase is 4 lanes, the roadbed is 24.75 m wide. Phase 1: 4 lanes, the roadbed is 17 m wide, the operating speed is 80 km/h.

The expressway invests in a system of Intelligent Traffic Control Centers, non-stop electronic toll stations, rest stops, and vehicle load control.

The designed route runs parallel to National Highway 20 through Bao Loc, Bao Lam, Di Linh, Duc Trong, connecting to Lien Khuong - Prenn expressway.

On the route there are 6 important traffic intersections including: Nguyen Van Cu, Tan Chau, Gia Hiep, Phu Hoi, Lien Hiep, Lien Khuong.

The project will include investment in 47 km of service roads and 19 km of level crossings, 35 overpasses and underpasses, and 20 tunnels. On the expressway, there will be 2 main toll stations and sub-toll stations at interconnecting intersections and an intelligent traffic system will be applied along the entire route.

The Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway project has a total investment of 17,718 billion VND, under the form of a BOT contract, connecting to the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway , which is expected to create a big boost for the socio-economic development of Lam Dong province and the Central Highlands region. Shortening travel time and enhancing trade connections will promote economic sectors, especially tourism and high-tech agriculture.

The approval of the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway project marks an important step forward, demonstrating Lam Dong province's determination in implementing expressway projects in the province to develop transport infrastructure, creating momentum for sustainable development of the region.
