On May 28, news from An Giang Provincial Police said that the professional unit of the Provincial Police is clarifying the case of 14 young men and women gathering to illegally use drugs, to consolidate the case file for handling according to the provisions of the law.

Accordingly, at about 2 o'clock the same day, from the people's report, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department coordinated with the Administrative Management Police Department for Social Order of An Giang Provincial Police and Long Xuyen City Police to administratively inspect the house without a number on Road No. 2, in Tay Song Hau Urban Area (My Tho Hamlet, My Quy Ward, Long Xuyen City).

At the time of the inspection, the authorities discovered 17 people (13 men, 4 women, aged 16-34) gathering to illegally use drugs. Evidence seized at the scene included 2 ceramic plates containing white powder, 4 plastic bags containing 4 blue tablets and white crystals (suspected to be drugs), and many sound and light instruments used for drug use.

The police force made a record of the temporary seizure of the evidence and took these people to the headquarters for clarification. Through a quick test, 14 people tested positive for drugs. The apartment used as the "high" spot mentioned above was rented under the name of PTML (27 years old, female).
