On the morning of September 25, in Khanh Thien commune (Yen Khanh district), the Provincial Women's Union (VWU) organized a campaign to launch the practice of green living for women.

At the conference, delegates and women's union members were informed about the current situation and harmful effects of plastic waste; solutions that Women's Unions at all levels have implemented to respond to the "Anti-plastic waste" movement in recent times; ways to classify waste, reduce plastic waste, and treat organic waste at households.

Through the launching ceremony, it aims to propagate and mobilize cadres and women's union members to actively participate in environmental protection, join hands to improve and enhance the quality of the living environment through specific actions such as not littering in public places; properly classifying waste at source and disposing of waste on time and in the right place; minimizing the use of plastic bags and disposable plastic products; regularly cleaning houses, alleys, etc.

Also on this occasion, the Women's Union of Khanh Thien commune organized the launch of the "Civilized and friendly female traders" club with 15 core members who are female traders directly doing business in the area.

The club was established to help improve knowledge, qualifications, management capacity and communication skills in business, thereby implementing good culture and civilization in business, building a beautiful image of Khanh Thien female traders in the new era.
