On March 5, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a conference to summarize the patriotic emulation movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) in 2023 and launch the emulation movement in 2024.

In 2023, trade unions at all levels in the province will always actively pay attention to innovating emulation movements; linking movements with the implementation of production and business goals and tasks, and political tasks in each enterprise, agency, and unit. Thereby, it aims to arouse the sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, and creativity of employees, contributing to helping units and enterprises overcome difficulties, stabilize, and develop.

In particular, the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" and the program "1 million initiatives to overcome difficulties, be creative, and determined to win the Covid-19 pandemic" have been concretized by trade unions at all levels with many typical movements such as: "Promoting initiatives, improving techniques, rationalizing production, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" at enterprises, "Good at public work, good at housework", "Building friendly schools, active students"...

In 2023, grassroots trade unions coordinated with professionals and business owners to register to implement 30 product projects and 6,450 topics and initiatives. Through the emulation movement, thousands of initiatives of employees have been applied to work and production, bringing high economic and social efficiency.

Along with that, emulation movements: Culture, sports; study, improve education level, vocational skills for integration and development; emulation to serve the cause of industrialization, modernization of agriculture and rural development associated with the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new countryside"; "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" ... have been widely deployed by trade unions at all levels in the province, with the active participation of many union members, bringing positive results. Through emulation movements, many typical and outstanding collectives and individuals have appeared, recognized, commended and rewarded by all levels and sectors.

Launching the emulation movement in 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor proposed that trade unions at all levels organize and launch emulation movements among workers in 2 phases. Phase 1 from January 1 to July 31, 2024, emulation to celebrate major events and holidays of the country, celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024) and deploy the action program to implement the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union. Phase 2, from August 1 to December 31, 2024, emulation peak to exceed the targets and tasks of 2024.

The contents of the competition are: Strive for each unit to select at least 1 typical project, product or work to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024), the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Ninh Binh Trade Union; 10 years of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

Strive to have 80% or more of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers be propagandized and thoroughly grasp the Party's Resolution, the State's policies and laws and the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union. Have 30 or more advanced models and examples in the emulation movement associated with the implementation of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

100% of full-time union officials and 85% of grassroots union officials are trained in union affairs; 100% of female officials are trained in women's affairs and gender equality.

Establish 20 grassroots trade unions at enterprises, develop 6,500 or more union members; 100% of grassroots trade unions, 80% of enterprise grassroots trade unions organize activities for "Workers' Month and Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health" in 2024.

Over 80% of union members achieved the title of excellent union members, 70% of grassroots unions or higher achieved the title of grassroots union that completed its tasks excellently and no grassroots union was classified as weak...

With the spirit of solidarity, unity and high determination, at the conference, representatives of the Labor Federations of districts, cities and industry unions signed the emulation covenant for 2024.

On this occasion, collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the 2023 workers' and civil servants' movement were commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Federation of Labor.
