“Grandma is the place to return to” - That is what the character Trang, the granddaughter, said to Grandma Truc, the hard-working, warm, and tolerant grandmother in the film about to be released to the audience on VTV1 “Hoa sua ve trong gio”. The film follows the family film motif, similar to “Thuong ngay nang ve”, and especially has the first participation of Meritorious Artist Vo Hoai Nam’s daughter: Vo Hoai Anh, as well as the reunion between Grandma Tinh - People’s Artist Thanh Quy and daughter-in-law Luyen “luon” - Thanh Huong.

“Hoa sua ve trong gio” is the latest work of director Bui Tien Huy, produced by Vietnam Television Film Production Center (VFC), with the theme of family.
The movie is somewhat reminiscent of "Missing the sunny days" With the role of Mrs. Truc, played by People's Artist Thanh Quy, she is a knowledgeable, resourceful, and sharp woman who single-handedly raised two children to adulthood and single-handedly took care of the family. She is an understanding person, siding with her daughter-in-law, strict with her daughter, and making up for her love for her granddaughter who lost her mother at a young age.

The film revolves around everyday stories in Mrs. Truc's family, from misunderstandings, differences between parents and children, where imposition is shaped under the name of love and concern. Both Hieu and Thuan, Mrs. Truc's son and daughter, fall into the same situation, when imposing on their children and family according to the desired model, causing the relationship to sometimes become tense, distant, even suffocating, lacking understanding.
And after the events, each family member realized the problem and adjusted themselves, turning to each other with love, sharing and support. It was the family in the most difficult ups and downs that made each person change and mature.

The most notable point of the film is the participation of Vo Hoai Anh, daughter of Meritorious Artist Vo Hoai Nam. This year, 19 years old, pursuing her dream of singing, the film "Hoa sua ve trong gio" is truly an unexpected turn for Vo Hoai Anh.
Sharing about the opportunity to receive the role, Hoai Anh said that when the film crew invited her to the casting, she thought she would just go for the experience, but in the end she was lucky enough to be accepted. This was a completely unexpected result, because she was studying vocal music and had never received any training in acting. But Vo Hoai Nam's father encouraged her and supported her a lot. Even in the first days of filming, Vo Hoai Nam's father followed his daughter to the set, observed, encouraged and gave her advice. When he came home at night, his father guided his daughter to grasp the character's psychology and emotions, and how to speak clearly and fluently.
For Vo Hoai Anh, entering the art world after his father Vo Hoai Nam's name is not pressure, but happiness, because not everyone has a teacher right in their home, loving and guiding them every step of the way like that.
The film marks the return of the “national mother”, People’s Artist Thanh Quy. Having played many roles of mothers in many different situations, but all sharing the same personality of loving their children and grandchildren, being patient and hardworking, and struggling to support the whole family, People’s Artist Thanh Quy said that each role has a different fate and personality, so each has its own way of expressing it, not confusing each other. Mrs. Chung in “Hoa sua ve trong gio” is a knowledgeable, delicate person who knows how to bend down to understand and share with her children and grandchildren.
People's Artist Thanh Quy said that the film is like a cool stream for the audience with emotions about family. There are very emotional parts, having to hold back emotions, "before even starting to act, tears were falling" - People's Artist Thanh Quy recounted.

Meritorious Artist Ngoc Quynh is also a name that has returned to television for a long time, after a series of impressive villain roles. He shared that his character line is relatively separate, with stories and family issues that are quite common, encountered in many modern families today. "The story of my family in the film also brings many lessons, the most important of which is to properly educate children, so that they can have a childhood."
The audience loved the little girl Camy from “Sunflower Against the Sun”, or Hoa in “Love for the Sunny Days” will now see Chu Diep Anh again in a completely new role. In the film, Chu Diep Anh plays a girl who is under pressure from her mother to study and has no personal space.
The film also marks a new image of actress Thanh Huong. Escaping the image of hard work and hustle in “Life is still beautiful” or the scheming in “One family”, the audience meets again a strong, decisive Thanh Huong, who dares to do what she thinks is right, and is extremely gentle and feminine…

“Hoa sua ve trong gio” also marks the return of Huyen Sam, who is familiar with “flashback” roles, specializing in playing the “young” roles of the main characters. Huyen Sam said that she had put in a lot of effort to be able to perform such a long-term role, and also received a lot of support from the director and colleagues.
The film also features the participation of many famous artists such as Meritorious Artist Ba Anh, Meritorious Artist Tu Oanh, Meritorious Artist Tien Dat, artists Thanh Duong, Sy Hung...

“Hoa sua ve trong gio” is also a film with a strong Hanoi character with camera angles, scenes, settings as well as character personalities that are typical of Hanoi. Released to the audience in the fall, the film is like a gift for those who love Hanoi and love Hanoi’s character.
The film will air from August 28 at 9pm every Monday to Friday on VTV1 channel.
