Soldier porridge - an act of love from a female Coast Guard soldier

On the morning of August 13, at Quang Nam Central General Hospital (Nui Thanh Commune, Da Nang City), the Women's Union of the Staff Department - Command of Coast Guard Region 2 organized the program "Soldier's porridge", giving 100 breakfast porridges, milk and fruits to patients and their families being treated at the hospital.

From early morning, the staff and members of the Women's Union were busy preparing ingredients, cooking porridge and transporting it to the hospital. Each portion of porridge was full of nutrition, accompanied by milk, fruit and words of concern and encouragement, which were the warm feelings and sharing of the female Coast Guard soldiers sent to the patients and their families in difficult circumstances who were being treated at the hospital.

The "Soldier's Porridge Pot" program is a regular activity, implemented by the Women's Union of the General Staff Department, Command of Coast Guard Region 2 since 2019. The program's funding comes mainly from contributions from officers and soldiers in the unit and savings from implementing the "100-dong House" program, raising piggy banks to raise savings funds, etc.

In the coming time, the Women's Union of the Staff Department, Command of Coast Guard Region 2 will continue to effectively maintain the "Soldier's Porridge" Program along with implementing well social security activities, targeting policy beneficiaries and families in difficult circumstances in the area.

Thereby, spreading the love and qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers and Coast Guard soldiers, demonstrating the spirit of "Coast Guard women with solidarity, discipline, and humanity", contributing to beautifying the image of female soldiers in the new era.
