Thanh Hoa is setting a goal of strong economic development with a plan to establish many new enterprises in 2024. Localities in the province have proactively implemented many measures and support programs to complete this goal, contributing to building Thanh Hoa into a bright spot in the movement of startups, innovation and enterprise development across the country.

To achieve the goal of establishing at least 80 new enterprises in 2024, Yen Dinh district has implemented a series of comprehensive solutions. The district People's Committee has not only issued many guiding documents but also developed specific policies to support startups and business development. Propaganda plays an important role, helping people and business households understand policies and guidelines through various information channels, creating motivation for individuals and organizations to participate in the business market. The district has invested heavily in production and business infrastructure and large projects such as the Northwest Industrial Cluster of Quan Lao town, Yen Lam stone craft village Industrial Cluster... opening up many opportunities to rent premises for businesses and business households. At the same time, the district requires communes and towns to publicize planning and land use plans so that businesses and individuals can easily access and research, thereby attracting more investors to the area.

In parallel, the district also actively supports businesses in accessing preferential loans from banks and credit institutions. Training, legal advice and improving business management skills for new business owners are also focused on. The government encourages businesses to apply digital technology and participate in e-commerce platforms to improve competitiveness.

These efforts have brought positive results, in the first 9 months of 2024, Yen Dinh established 58 new enterprises, reaching 73.1% of the annual plan and increasing by 67% over the same period last year. This is an encouraging achievement, this result not only reflects the district's determination in implementing economic development plans, but also contributes to creating more jobs and improving the lives of local people.

In 2024, Trieu Son district aims to establish 70 new enterprises to promote economic development. The district takes advantage of industries such as garment, leather shoes and construction materials to attract enterprises. For qualified business households and farm owners, the district increases propaganda about the State's policy to encourage enterprise development and provides information on tax declaration procedures. In addition, the district implements support policies from the Government and the Provincial People's Committee to raise awareness of enterprise development. The Department of Finance and Planning guides the completion of enterprise registration procedures and issues a support mechanism of VND 2.5 million for each newly established enterprise. The district also maintains regular meetings between the Chairman of the District People's Committee and enterprises to listen to opinions and find solutions to overcome difficulties.

By the end of September 2024, the district had established 55 new enterprises, reaching 79.8% of the plan and increasing by 45.3% over the same period last year. These efforts not only help achieve the target of the number of new enterprises but also improve the investment environment, creating momentum for sustainable development in the future.

Tho Xuan District is a locality that has always successfully completed its annual business development plan, often achieving its goals ahead of schedule. The district has not only implemented solutions such as propaganda, mobilization and screening of individual households to develop businesses, but also made good use of the role of political organizations and unions in discovering and supporting potential factors, thereby promoting the establishment of businesses. In the first 9 months of 2024, Tho Xuan District has established 110 new businesses, and the district is continuing to deploy synchronous solutions from the district level to the grassroots level with the goal of establishing 150 new businesses this year.

According to data from the Department of Planning and Investment, in the first 9 months of 2024, there were more than 2,400 newly registered enterprises in the province, reaching 80.37% of the plan, up 22.51% over the same period; registered charter capital reached nearly 18,500 billion VND, up 43.5% over the same period, the average registered charter capital reached 7.64 billion VND/enterprise. The number of newly established enterprises in the province in the first 9 months of 2024 ranked 8th in the country and ranked first in the provinces in the North Central region. Some localities with a number of newly established enterprises higher than the plan are Nhu Xuan reaching 180%, Thuong Xuan reaching 173.3%, Thieu Hoa 156.4%, Trieu Son 126.7%, Nong Cong 124.6%, Ba Thuoc 110%.

Despite many positive results, the province's new enterprise development work still faces some limitations such as small enterprise scale, low rate of sustainable enterprise development and imbalance in fields and regions; some localities develop enterprises according to the movement, leading to low operational efficiency and competitiveness...

To improve the efficiency and sustainability of business development, the Department of Planning and Investment will continue to advise the Provincial People's Committee to remove difficulties in land resources, finance and expand production and business. Along with that, focus on reforming administrative procedures and coordinating with the Provincial Inspectorate to rectify inspection and examination activities in the area. However, to facilitate businesses, it is necessary to have the synchronous participation of departments, branches and localities to create a transparent and effective business environment.
