Art performance depicting the legend of Au Co giving birth to a hundred eggs at the Festival.
Taking place on the evenings of August 8 and 9, the Festival is an activity organized by the Central Council of the Young Pioneers to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Notably, the theme of the Festival changes every day, respectively "Vietnamese children grow up with the country" and "Vietnamese children firmly step into the new era".
The program on the evening of August 8 was divided into three parts: "Proud of the descendants of the Dragon and Fairy", "I am the young shoot of the Party" and "I love the Fatherland Vietnam".
The festival is a large-scale art playground for children nationwide, with the participation of more than 1,000 children and staff in charge of the Team from 27 Palaces, Children's Houses, and Youth Activity Centers nationwide.
Through diverse, unique and meaningful performances, the children had the opportunity to show their talents, nurture their souls, and arouse patriotism and national pride.
Not just an art performance, the Festival is also a vivid "lesson" about history, culture and national traditions - where children can experience and be educated through music and emotions.
From the activities within the framework of the Festival, the Organizing Committee hopes to form in the children a love for their homeland , a spirit of solidarity, a sense of responsibility to the community and a desire to contribute to the country.
It is known that in the second performance night (August 9), the "child artists" will perform acts in four parts: "Singing loudly in the new era", "Proud of a strip of mountains and rivers", "Vietnamese children follow Uncle Ho's words" and "Vietnamese children grow up with the country".
Within the framework of the Festival, the Organizing Committee presented symbols to participating units and commended outstanding units. On August 10, delegates attending the Festival will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, visit the Presidential Palace Relic Site and the Ho Chi Minh Museum.
