In addition, accompanying the "Vietnam-Korea Friendship Cultural Festival 2023" are booths of Korean businesses related to movies, tourism, entertainment, characters...
All promise to bring extremely unique and interesting experiences to the people of Ho Chi Minh City.
The “Vietnam-Korea Friendship Cultural Festival” was held for the first time last year and attracted more than 8,000 people to attend. To continue that success, this year’s event was held on a larger scale to respond to the event of Vietnam-Korea upgrading diplomatic relations to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
In addition, the festival will also include activities to promote Busan's hosting of the 2030 World Expo.
Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam Choi Seung Jin said: “Unlike the cultural festivals organized by the Korean Embassy and the Korean Cultural Center in Hanoi before, this festival targets Ho Chi Minh City residents - those who do not have many opportunities to participate in Korean cultural events.
Therefore, the Organizing Committee has tried to bring a larger-scale program so that Ho Chi Minh City residents can experience many different types of Korean culture.
At the same time, in the future, the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam will continue to strengthen cooperation and cultural exchanges with many other localities so that people of the two countries can become closer to each other."
