The Northern preliminary round took place in Hanoi on March 13, attracting hundreds of registered candidates.

According to anthropometric experts, more than 90% of the contestants participating in the Northern Preliminary Round have original beauty.

Many candidates have almost reached the golden ratio in terms of body shape. However, there are some cases that are eliminated because of cosmetic interventions such as porcelain crowns, filler injections, nose jobs, etc.

More than 20% of candidates passing the anthropometric test were over 1.7 m tall.

Many candidates come from top universities, international students with good academic and foreign language qualifications. Some candidates are fluent in many foreign languages ​​such as English, Japanese, Korean, German...

"The jury members really had a hard time because the quantity and quality of the contestants in the Northern Preliminary Round of Miss Vietnam 2024 was quite high," said Miss Do Thi Ha.

Do Hoang Truc Linh shared that Miss Vietnam is a prestigious and long-standing contest, with the title of "main palace" and the dream of many girls. "I was so nervous that I couldn't sleep before the Northern Preliminary Round of Miss Vietnam 2024. I prepared from 3:30 a.m. and moved to the contest venue as soon as possible. For me, this is not only a beauty contest but also a playground for knowledge. I improved my knowledge, catwalk skills, learned to play musical instruments, dance, martial arts...", Truc Linh said.

The Miss Vietnam 2024 Final Round is expected to begin at the end of March.
