At around 11am, due to the large number of visitors, the Independence Palace had to temporarily close, many tourists from distant provinces expressed regret.
Mr. Hoang Tung took his wife and two daughters from Thai Nguyen City to Ho Chi Minh City last night. He really wanted to take his two daughters to visit the Independence Palace because it is a special national monument. Mr. Tung expressed regret because there were too many tourists today, he waited for nearly 2 hours but still could not buy tickets to visit.

But this morning, from 8am, there were hundreds of people lining up to buy tickets at the Zoo, luckily Ms. Thu was able to buy tickets for her family.
Suoi Tien Tourist Area, Dam Sen Water Park, Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden are also destinations that city residents prioritize to visit and have fun during this holiday. The number of people increases as the afternoon goes on, April 30.
The Zoo Management Board said that during the holiday, the number of people coming here is 4-5 times higher than usual, so the security forces, security guards, and cleaning staff work 100% overtime. At the same time, they coordinate with the militia and local police to ensure security and order.

On the second day of the April 30 holiday, the closer it gets to noon, the more visitors flock to Suoi Tien tourist area. Many families prepare food, plastic mats, tents, etc. to take a nap right at the amusement park.
At the Suoi Tien ticket office, many people lined up to buy tickets to visit. Ms. Thu Ha (a sewing machine worker) brought her family of more than 10 people to visit Suoi Tien. She shared that she usually has to go to work, so today, she had a holiday and gathered several families to take their children out.
Meanwhile, Mr. Tuan Hung said that because he was afraid of crowded trains and traffic jams, this year his family did not travel, but chose to go around the city and find a place to have dinner, then go home to rest.
