The Tran family is believed to be the first family to migrate to Cuu village and build a career. According to Mr. Tran Ngoc Thu (the caretaker of the Tran family temple), the Tran family's ancestors came to this land in the 13th century. This temple worships the ancestor Tran Ninh Thuan , who was known for his talent in taming and raising tigers. There is a story that he "died his life's work" when he was bitten to death by the tiger he raised. After that, he was buried on a beautiful piece of land, and later his descendants (the third generation is Mr. Tran Van Lam) came to look after the ancestor's grave and founded Cuu village. Mr. Lam was later honored as the village's tutelary god.

Tran family temple was built in pure Vietnamese architectural style, still retaining ancient values and features.
