Introduction to Van Phuc Pagoda, Phuc Ha Dong

Van Phuc Pagoda is located in Van Phuc Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi City, originating from the Le Trung Hung Dynasty. Restored in the early 21st century, the pagoda is a Buddhist architectural work of the Mahayana sect, standing out with its ancient gate opening onto Silk Street - a famous local heritage.

Located in a peaceful space, the pagoda was built in the traditional “T” shape with typical items such as the bell tower, the front hall, the upper hall, the lotus pond and the ancient laterite well. The unique features of the pagoda come not only from the ri-tile roof architecture, the sophisticated truss and beams, but also from the rich system of Northern Buddhist statues, arranged in majestic layers.
