Basic technical acceptance of high-speed patrol boat of Vietnam Coast Guard

The grassroots technical acceptance council chaired by Major General Dam Xuan Tuan, Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard, organized the technical acceptance of the CSB 4040 ship at the wharf and long distance at sea in accordance with the approved acceptance process. Thereby, it aimed to inspect and evaluate the quality of the new construction of the CSB 4040 ship, the operational capacity of the systems and equipment installed on the ship and the combat and technical features of the ship.

The basic technical acceptance council assessed that the CSB 4040 ship met the technical requirements according to the design and technical and combat features approved by the Ministry of National Defense . The ship's hull was manufactured according to the design and the right type of material. The interior met technical and industrial aesthetic requirements. Systems such as main engine, electrical equipment, marine equipment, communications, deck equipment, lifesaving, firefighting, propeller shafts and propellers... were installed precisely, operating synchronously and stably. The acceptance process ensured absolute safety for people and equipment.

After the basic acceptance, the Acceptance Council reports to the Ministry of National Defense before putting it into use for the patrol, inspection, control and implementation of tasks at sea of the Vietnam Coast Guard.

Speaking at the conclusion of the acceptance test results, Major General Dam Xuan Tuan highly appreciated the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Coast Guard Shipbuilding Project Management Subcommittee and Hong Ha Shipbuilding Company Limited. At the same time, the Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard requested Hong Ha Shipbuilding Company Limited to promptly overcome some shortcomings that were pointed out during the basic acceptance and trial run; requested relevant units to promptly complete the remaining items and procedures as soon as possible to report to the Ministry of National Defense and put the ship into operation soon.
