Identifying the application of IT and digital transformation as a key task to innovate teaching, learning and management methods, contributing to improving the quality of educational activities, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Hau district has implemented directives and guidance documents from all levels (Official Dispatch No. 1658/2024/SGDĐT-GDCTHSSV of the Department of Education and Training on guiding the implementation of IT and digital transformation tasks for the 2024-2025 school year; digital transformation plans of the Hai Hau District People's Committee). The Department has issued an official dispatch directing educational institutions to implement the task of applying IT and digital transformation for the 2024-2025 school year.

All levels of education in the district continue to effectively implement the Project "Strengthening the application of IT and digital transformation in education and training in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030" and the Project "Developing the application of data on population, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025"; continue to expand the database of the education sector, connecting with national databases to improve the convenience and efficiency of education management; promote administrative reform, enhance the implementation of administrative procedures through online public services and "one-stop" and "one-stop" sections on the Public Service Portal; deploy digital transcripts, build a database of diplomas and certificates towards digital diplomas and digital certificates. Strengthening conditions to ensure technical infrastructure and IT application skills in management, administration, teaching, learning, nurturing, caring for, educating children, testing and evaluation in education; continuing to build a national digital infrastructure for learning, a shared digital learning resource warehouse for the entire sector, including: electronic lectures, multimedia digital learning materials, electronic textbooks, simulation software and other learning materials; developing an online question bank system for subjects; enhancing the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching, learning and education management activities along with developing solutions to ensure the safety of the digital learning environment; improving digital capacity for learners and teachers and education managers.

At the preschool level, units implement the set of criteria for assessing the level of digital transformation of preschool education institutions issued under Decision No. 3276/QD-BGDDT dated October 30, 2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training. At the primary and secondary levels, the criteria for assessing the level of digital transformation of general education and continuing education institutions issued under Decision No. 4725/QD-BGDDT dated December 30, 2022 of the Ministry of Education and Training are implemented. At the primary level, 100% of classrooms are equipped with televisions, teachers actively participate in training on the use of online teaching platforms and resources such as Zoom, OLM, Avina, E-learning...; at the secondary level, some teachers participate in the global network to improve their knowledge and skills in IT and AI in administration and teaching; Implement cross-border classes through English teaching hours connecting with countries such as India, Thailand, Singapore... Schools also organize "Teachers develop together" groups right from professional groups to support each other to overcome difficulties and complete assigned tasks well, such as: Support writing initiatives, building matrices, test specification tables, modules according to the 2018 General Education Program.

The application of IT and digital transformation has changed the management methods of educational institutions and increased the effectiveness of unit management, improving the quality of education. This has also changed the form and method of organizing educational activities of teachers, making students more active, more self-aware, more interested, and more passionate in learning. From the results of the application of IT and digital transformation, schools have performed well the tasks of Project 06 with 100% of administrative procedures resolved online at levels 3 and 4 and digitized records; continued to supplement and update school year data to the Education sector database system at https://csdl.moet.gov.vn; continued to process and digitize the output results of level 4 records for procedures for transferring secondary school students, re-issuing copies of secondary school graduation certificates; 100% of units implemented cashless payments according to current regulations; 100% of school staff, teachers and employees have installed and used VNeID; piloted the implementation of Digital Transcripts for 100% of primary schools; primary and secondary schools in the district have met the criteria for digital transformation in schools according to the Ministry of Education and Training's set of criteria.

In the 2023-2024 school year, the school is one of the first schools to use digital signatures in transcripts in all subjects. Also in the 2023-2024 school year, the school ranked 1/34 schools in digital transformation work. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school was selected by the District Education and Training Department to pilot the use of digital transcripts. Students are interested and love the subject, contributing to improving learning outcomes.

From the benefits of applying IT and digital transformation, in the coming time, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Hau district will continue to strive to resolve administrative procedures in the education sector under the authority of the district level at levels 3 and 4 and digitalize; effectively implement Project 06; effectively implement digital transformation in the entire district education sector; synchronously deploy software in teaching and management; increase the use of electronic records; apply IT in organizing educational activities; promote the collection of tuition fees and non-cash payments; prepare conditions for implementing digital transcripts at all levels of education.
