The difference between the buying and selling price of gold bars is 2 million VND/tael, lower than that of gold rings at 2.5 million VND/tael.

Gold rings have the advantage of being priced close to the world gold price and are easily accessible to those with small capital. However, this type of gold is difficult to resell elsewhere than the original purchase point, is easily overpriced, and its quality is not uniformly tested like gold bars.
