Improving capacity on agricultural production linkage for cooperatives in Nghe An

On August 11 and 12, the Center for Supporting Farmers and Rural Areas - Central Vietnam Farmers' Union in coordination with Nghe An Province Farmers' Union organized a training course to improve the capacity of cooperatives on organizing production linkages.

The training subjects are heads of professional associations, professional groups; and agricultural cooperative officers of Nam Dan and Nghi Loc districts.

During 2 days, the trainees were taught by experts the following contents: Linking the OCOP product value chain in agricultural production; Marketing management in agricultural cooperatives.

In addition, students listened to and learned in depth about cooperative management skills, market knowledge, digital transformation in administrative procedure implementation, and market research to find output for agricultural products.

At the training session, experts in the agricultural sector exchanged, discussed, and shared experiences, good practices, and practical solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles in the process of organizing activities and production of agricultural cooperatives.

During the training program, trainees visited cooperative models in Nghi Loc district. Thereby, they accumulated more experience in service management, marketing in agricultural cooperatives, applying information technology and digital transformation in production, processing and consumption of agricultural products, applying to product production according to the value chain to increase the value of agricultural products, develop sustainable cooperatives, create stable jobs and high income for members and local workers.
