On August 20, the Phu Thuan Commune Police ( Vinh Long ) said they were coordinating with the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, the school board and related parents to resolve the case of a 7th grade female student of Nguyen Van Don Secondary School being beaten by a group of people, the clip of which was posted on social media.

QA was knocked down by a group of people, grabbed by the hair and dragged (Photo cut from clip).
Accordingly, student PQA (born in 2012, grade 7, Nguyen Van Don Secondary School) met female student NTTN (born in 2011, grade 8, Huynh Tan Phat Secondary School) through social networks. TN is friends with VTKT (born in 2012) and 4 other women.
KT group had people who were studying, some who were not studying and participated in beating QA, except TN who did not participate.
According to the incident, QA posted his picture on social media, from which a conflict arose with KT's group.
At noon on August 13, the KT group asked QA to go to the resettlement area of Phu Thuan commune to resolve the conflict. QA made an appointment with the KT group to go to Tam Hiep commune, but the group did not come.
At 1:00 p.m. on August 14, the KT group passed Tam Hiep islet and about 20 students followed to watch. Here, the KT group met QA near Nguyen Van Don Secondary School (Phu Thuan commune), then the two sides went to a deserted road to talk.
Going to the riverside road, 5 women repeatedly beat the victim's head and back until someone called the police and they ran away.
QA was beaten but did not report the incident to her family when she returned home. On August 15, QA's father discovered the incident and took his daughter to the Medical Center for treatment. The doctor diagnosed QA with soft tissue injuries. Her health is now stable.
The case continues to be handled by the authorities according to regulations.
