
According to representatives of some businesses, the number of customers coming to restaurants and cafes during this year's holiday increased by 50-60% compared to normal days and was equivalent to the same period last year. The reason is that the holiday lasts 5 days, many families and groups organize meetings, class reunions, hometown meetings, etc.

To serve customers, restaurants, eateries, and cafes have proactively prepared food and ingredients in advance; at the same time, they have hired additional seasonal staff to promptly serve customers' needs. Despite the sudden increase in the number of customers, the selling price has been kept stable by businesses.

There are not many promotions being offered this time, only a few establishments offering a discount of about 5% on the bill for customers who book in advance.

In addition to familiar dishes and drinks, during the April 30 - May 1 holiday this year, many restaurants and cafes also offer new dishes such as: chicken hotpot with sour leaves, black chicken hotpot with herbs with prices ranging from 250,000 - 450,000 VND/pot; some new drinks such as sticky rice milk tea, sticky rice tofu with pearls, old avocado with young coconut... with common prices from 30,000 - 45,000 VND/cup.
