On the morning of May 30, the Party Committee and Command of Brigade 125 of Naval Region 2 held an emulation congress to determine the victory of Brigade 125 for the period 2019-2024. Attending the congress were Colonel Tran Manh Chien, Political Commissar of Naval Region 2 Command; Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Van Duc - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh Sea Trail Tradition Association of Ho Chi Minh City, and many other delegates.

On the side of Brigade 125, there were Colonel Pham Minh Chien, Brigade political commissar and Colonel Nguyen Dinh Lich, brigade commander, attending.

Speaking at the opening of the congress, Colonel Nguyen Dinh Lich, Brigade Commander of Brigade 125, said that the Brigade 125 Emulation Congress for Victory, period 2019 - 2024, is a major political activity with profound significance to summarize, evaluate, and affirm the important role of the emulation movement for victory in performing the unit's tasks.

At the same time, commend, reward and honor typical advanced collectives and individuals in the emulation movement to win, in implementing the campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" of the brigade.

Especially in the face of complicated developments in the East Sea, the task of protecting sea and island sovereignty and building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern brigade requires each officer and soldier to further promote the achievements they have made, build a strong political stance, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, State and people.

Speaking at the congress, Colonel Tran Manh Chien, Political Commissar of Naval Region 2 Command, said that since 2019, officers, employees, and soldiers of the brigade have worked together to build the unit, overcome difficulties, and successfully complete tasks, including implementing the emulation movement to win.

The Party Committee of the Regional Command always respects and acknowledges the great efforts and contributions of the outstanding collectives and individuals of the brigade in implementing the emulation movement, contributing to the completion of the political tasks of the region; building a strong and comprehensive region.

According to Colonel Tran Manh Chien, the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands in the coming time will be set with new and higher requirements. From there, the emulation movement of the brigade will continue to go into depth and be solid; it is truly a driving force to push each collective and individual to strive to excellently complete all tasks.

The emulation movement must be closely linked to and adhere to the political tasks of the unit, focusing on the tasks of combat readiness and mastery of technical equipment. Through emulation, it contributes to building political mettle, determination, and loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people.

We must actively innovate with appropriate content and methods, focusing on building typical examples and new factors. The emulation movement must be vibrant, substantial, with many breakthroughs, avoiding formalism and rationalization.

On this occasion, the Naval Region 2 Command awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 1 individual; Brigade 125 awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and 27 individuals.
