Previously, in early April, the Department of Construction of the two localities held a meeting to agree on the implementation of the connecting bridges between the two provinces. At the meeting, the two Departments of Construction agreed to divide the responsibility for investing in the construction of the connecting bridges between the two localities.

Specifically, Dong Nai province will implement the construction of Xom La 2 bridge (on Pham Van Dieu street) and Tan Hien bridge. These projects are expected to start in 2026. As for Binh Duong province, it will implement the investment in the construction of Thanh Hoi 2 bridge and Tan An bridge, expected to start in 2026.

In addition to the four road bridges mentioned above, Dong Nai will also invest in the construction of Thu Bien 2 Bridge (part of the Ring Road 4 Project - Ho Chi Minh City), with construction expected to start in 2025. Meanwhile, Binh Duong province will invest in the construction of Hieu Liem 2 Bridge, with construction expected to start in 2025.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, after the Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee has commented on the above plan, the Provincial People's Committee will synthesize and ask for opinions from the Provincial Party Standing Committee.
