6 key projects were started including: Tran Yen Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project (Phase I); Compensation, resettlement support, and relocation of technical infrastructure project serving the construction of the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong railway project, the section through Yen Bai province (old); Binh Minh Tay Bac Social Housing Project; Package No. 14 for construction of Ngoi Phat bridge under the Red River road project, connecting Ban Vuoc border gate to Y Ty; Ban Qua area leveling and technical infrastructure project and Production area leveling and technical infrastructure project of Production area 1, Production area 2 in the Kim Thanh-Ban Vuoc logistics area to serve the site clearance for the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong railway construction investment project.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong said that the Tran Yen Industrial Park project has an area of 254.59 hectares, with a total investment of more than VND2,184 billion in phase one, with synchronous planning of technical infrastructure, traffic, electricity supply, water supply, and wastewater treatment; along with a location near the Noi Bai-Lao Cai highway, on the Kunming (Yunnan, China)-Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong-Quang Ninh economic corridor.

In particular, the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong high-speed railway is being implemented, expected to attract many domestic and foreign secondary investors, create jobs for tens of thousands of workers, improve people's income and living standards, increase budget revenue, contribute to the economic restructuring towards industrialization and modernization and create new growth momentum for the southern region of the province.

The Nuoc Mat village resettlement area in Au Lau ward is one of 45 resettlement areas in the province that have been invested in and built to serve the project's site clearance. The project has an area of 3.4 hectares, leveling 69 resettlement plots and investing in synchronous technical infrastructure to serve households whose land has been recovered for the project.

Binh Minh Tay Bac Social Housing Project is located on Yen Bai Riverside project land, approved for investment policy and assigned to the investor. With a total area of over 24,668m2, a population of about 1,630 people, including 6 7-storey buildings, with 660 apartments.
Package No. 14 is the construction of Ngoi Phat bridge under the project of building a road along the Red River connecting Ban Vuoc border gate to Y Ty. The project includes connecting roads and Ngoi Phat bridge, of which the connecting road includes: The main route is 3.2km long, designed according to the standards of a grade III plain road, designed speed of 80km/h, road width of 20m.

Ngoi Phat Bridge, spanning Ngoi Phat stream, is located in the border area of Trinh Tuong commune, 198.2m long and 22.5m wide. After completing the project to build a road along the Red River connecting Ban Vuoc border gate to Y Ty, it will contribute to improving the efficiency of exploiting the Ban Vuoc border gate area, Kim Thanh border gate area, serving the development of urban areas along the Red River to the north, meeting future transportation needs; especially when the road bridge across the Red River in the Bat Xat (Vietnam) - Ba Sai (China) area is completed, contributing to socio-economic development, serving national defense and security.

The project of leveling the ground and technical infrastructure of Ban Qua area and the project of leveling the ground and technical infrastructure of the production area 1, production area 2 in the logistics area (logistics service) Kim Thanh-Ban Vuoc to serve the site clearance for the investment project to build the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong railway line built in Bat Xat commune, Lao Cai province. The project will build essential technical infrastructure items, serving the arrangement of production facilities in Dong Pho Moi industrial park with an area of about 94 hectares, with a total investment of 616,855 million VND.
