In the exciting atmosphere of responding to Workers' Month 2025 and emulation movements launched by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), on the morning of April 24, 2025, the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) led by Mr. Pham Van Anh, Vice President of the VGCL, visited and presented gifts to officials, employees and workers (CBCNV-NLĐ) at Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company.

The visit and gift-giving took place within the framework of the delegates attending the Program of the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month 2025, Launching the emulation movement "Creative Labor", and the Program "10 thousand initiatives" for the period 2025-2028 of EVN, held at Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company.

This is an important event, demonstrating the deep concern of leaders at all levels for the lives, jobs and spirit of workers in the Electricity industry in general and Quang Ninh Thermal Power in particular.

Participating in the working delegation, on the side of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, there were comrade Pham Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; comrade Bui Minh Thanh - Permanent Vice President of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation. On the side of EVN, there were comrade Dinh The Phuc - Member of the EVN Board of Members; Pham Hong Phuong - Deputy General Director of EVN; Do Duc Hung - Chairman of EVN Trade Union; along with comrades Vice Presidents of EVN Trade Union and comrades Leaders of Power Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1).

The presence of senior leaders from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Quang Ninh Provincial Confederation of Labor, EVN and EVN Trade Union brought great encouragement to the collective of employees of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company.

During the meeting and intimate conversation with the Company's Board of Directors and representatives of workers, Comrade Pham Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor shared the significance of the visit. He emphasized that this is a practical activity within the Plan to visit and give gifts to union members and workers nationwide on the occasion of the Workers' Month in 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, demonstrating the concern and care of the Trade Union organization for the country's core workforce.

Comrade Pham Van Anh praised the enthusiastic and responsible working spirit of the Quang Ninh Thermal Power Plant workers, especially in the context of the peak period of electricity production in the dry season of 2025, a period of great significance for national energy security. He called on all employees of the Company to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, and strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, ensure safe, stable and effective operation of the plant, and contribute to the Vietnam Electricity Group in successfully completing the task of supplying electricity for socio-economic development. In addition, the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also encouraged the Company's employees to promote the spirit of innovation and creativity, and set an example for workers with initiatives to improve techniques and rationalize production, contributing to the sustainable development of the enterprise, the Electricity industry and the workers' movement nationwide.

On behalf of the Company's staff, Comrade Nguyen Tuan Anh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company reported to the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and delegates on the production and business activities, preparations for the 2025 dry season and outstanding results in taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers.

Comrade Nguyen Tuan Anh said that the Company currently has more than 800 employees. In recent years, despite facing many difficulties, the Company's Board of Directors and the Trade Union always identify caring for and ensuring the rights of employees as a key task. The Company always ensures that 100% of employees have stable jobs and a fairly good income compared to the general level in the locality and region. The Company is considered one of the units that always cares about and takes good care of the regimes and policies for employees in the industry.

In addition, the Company always creates favorable conditions for the activities of the grassroots Trade Union. The Company's Trade Union has promoted its role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees; proactively and actively coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize many diverse and practical activities such as: Annual Sports Festival for Employees, social security activities, giving gifts to employees in difficult circumstances, organizing programs to show gratitude to employees on the occasion of Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health... These activities not only improve spiritual life but also strengthen solidarity and attachment between employees and enterprises.

On this occasion, Comrade Pham Van Anh and the leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation and Vietnam Electricity Group presented meaningful gifts to the collective of employees of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company, demonstrating the concern and practical encouragement from all levels and sectors for the grassroots workers.
