Indian leaders offer flowers to statue of leader Mahatma Gandhi in Ho Chi Minh City

(HTV) - On the occasion of accompanying the Buddha's relics to the United Nations Vesak Day in Vietnam, this afternoon, the Indian Minister of Parliamentary and Minority Affairs came to offer flowers to the statue of Indian leader - Mahatma Gandhi at Tao Dan Park, Ho Chi Minh City.

Inaugurated in 2023, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial in Ho Chi Minh City is a testament to the long-standing friendship and tradition between Vietnam and India, stemming from many historical and cultural similarities and becoming even more special with the similarities between the two great national leaders, Mahatma Gandhi and President Ho Chi Minh .

At Tao Dan Park, the Indian Minister of Parliamentary and Minority Affairs came to offer flowers to the statue of Indian leader - Mahatma Gandhi.

The two leaders spent their entire lives accompanying the oppressed people and became great men who inspired the national liberation movement not only in India and Vietnam but also in countries around the world . Both great men are respected and loved by the people of India and Vietnam.
