“The Tiny Bean English program hopes to help preschool children develop the ability to learn a second language long-term, stimulate interest in the learning process, and increase the connection between the supporter and the child in a systematic and scientific way,” said Ms. Tran Thuy Duong, Director of the company.

The program systematically applies the natural language acquisition process according to the research of Professor Stephen Krashen, but researches and develops into the exclusive APE method (Activate - Play and learn - Expand) to help children acquire language naturally like learning their mother tongue through the process of language activation - playing and learning language - expanding language specifically for children from 1.5 to 3 years old.

Based on the characteristics of children at this age, the repetition of short lessons is the key for children to absorb language into long-term memory. Tiny Bean uses many sensory development activities, vivid images, and emphasizes interactions to help children learn through play. The content is carefully selected based on thorough research on the psychology and cognition of children at this stage.

Tiny Bean focuses on developing English learning through music, helping children learn language with a diverse and aesthetic worldview. The melodies composed exclusively for the Timy Bean program include many genres such as jazz, swing, pop, rock and roll, country, etc. Tiny Bean's music is cheerful and fresh, even when conveying gentle, melodious melodies, it is filled with happiness without being noisy.

The arrangement is very elaborate with many different types of instruments and sounds. Sometimes it is the piano, sometimes the guitar, sometimes the ukulele, and also combines many musical instruments such as bells, trumpets, maracas, xylophones... making the musical space that Tiny Bean creates for children quite rich.

This program focuses on listening and interaction, absolutely no videos are used to protect children's brains, concentration and eyes.

To help children receive images and information, the Tiny Bean program chooses a "three-legged stool" model to help children develop a love of books - the foundation for their lifelong learning. The "three-legged stool" model is that children are nurtured in their love of books through teachers reading board books in class, parents reading books to their children at home and children discovering mini books just for themselves.

The illustrations in children's books are also based on the imagination of children at this stage, focusing on specific images, eliminating distracting decorative details, and using bright colors.

The learning path includes 3 levels following the right age development including: Seedling (for children 1.5 - 2 years old); Sprouting (for children 2 - 2.5 years old); Growing (for children 2.5 - 3 years old). The program can be applied in preschools or family study groups.

The program is developed by Budding Bean Vietnam Co., Ltd. together with foreign experts in the US, Australia, and Malaysia.
