The working delegation inspected the field at a number of families with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives supported under Decision 311 in Kim Thach commune, Vinh Linh district and Gio Mai commune, Gio Linh district.

Vinh Linh district has a total of 944 families supported under Decision 311, including 79 newly built houses and 865 repaired houses; Gio Linh district has 367 families supported, including 21 newly built houses and 346 repaired houses.

Up to now, Vinh Linh district has started construction of 29 new houses and is preparing to repair houses simultaneously for supported households; determined that before June 30, the entire district will complete the construction of new houses and repair houses for supported households according to Decision 311.

In Gio Linh district, up to now, 3 households have started new construction and 3 households have repaired their houses.

During the implementation process, the entire political system of Vinh Linh and Gio Linh districts has taken proactive, active, and timely action, ensuring compliance with regulations. However, there are still some difficulties and problems with land procedures, construction workers, and the lack of specific information on housing for families of meritorious people and martyrs' relatives in some communes and towns...

The districts requested the Provincial People's Committee to allocate capital to support housing for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives in a timely manner, ensuring sufficient funding according to needs and the lack of funds that need to be supplemented.

Through field inspection and listening to progress reports, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam acknowledged the efforts of localities in urgently implementing support for housing construction for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs in recent times.

To achieve the goal of completing the construction and repair of houses supported by Decision 311 on schedule, it is recommended that districts actively coordinate to remove and overcome difficulties in land procedures; urge and encourage families to prepare conditions to be ready to start construction and repair of houses as soon as possible. In addition, it is recommended that localities arrange forces to help families in dismantling, repairing houses and other necessary tasks.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Finance to provide specific instructions on procedures for advance payment, payment and settlement of support funds to create convenience and consistency for localities during the implementation process.
