From the town center, running along Highway 1 down to Tri River and then entering Ky Lien, Ky Phuong, Ky Nam areas... a new vitality is spreading over the young urban area of ​​Ky Anh. Urban upgrading projects, attracting investment... are forming the shape of a future city with urban space connecting residential planning areas, creating a dynamic and modern lifestyle.

The project to upgrade and renovate Thuy Son Lake in Hung Tri ward contributes to bringing a new urban look to Ky Anh town.

“Effectively exploiting resources, potentials, and advantages, focusing on Vung Ang Economic Zone (EZ), building Ky Anh Town into a city by 2025, developing rapidly and sustainably in the direction of industrialization and modernization” is the key task clearly identified in the theme of the 2nd Ky Anh Town Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. To implement this goal, Ky Anh Town has focused on mobilizing maximum resources, perfecting the urban infrastructure system, traffic network, building civilized urban criteria, and forming model, civilized, and modern streets.

At large construction sites, the atmosphere of urgent and busy work is present. A typical example is the Project for Integrated Development of Dynamic Cities - Ky Anh Urban Sub-project (total investment of 1,239 billion VND, using World Bank loans and domestic counterpart funds) with 4 major projects. Up to this point, Thuy Son Lake (Hung Tri Ward) has been basically upgraded and renovated, becoming a highlight project in the central area of ​​the town. Not far away, 2 projects: construction of the central urban connecting road axis and construction of embankments combined with traffic routes on both sides of the Tri River have also gradually "come into view" to become modern traffic routes of the locality. At the same time, the wastewater collection system and treatment station in the wards: Hung Tri, Ky Trinh and Ky Hoa commune are also being urgently constructed by units. Up to now, the items in phase 1 of the 4 projects have completed 80% of the total project progress.

In Vung Ang Economic Zone, there are 4 major projects being focused on implementation, including: the road from National Highway 12C to Formosa Steel Complex (35% completed); upgrading and completing the technical infrastructure of Vung Ang 1 Industrial Park (95% completed); the southern belt road of Vung Ang Economic Zone and the central main road connecting National Highway 1, avoiding Ky Anh Town to the deep-water port cluster of Vung Ang - Son Duong (40% completed)...

The projects contribute to building a synchronous infrastructure connection for Ky Anh Town in general and Vung Ang Economic Zone in particular, creating advantages in attracting investment and developing socio-economic development. Increase investment attraction to exploit potential

Mr. Dang Van Thanh - Secretary of Ky Anh Town Party Committee shared: “Along with the province's investment attraction policy, in recent times, the town has had many policies and strategies to create a favorable investment environment, such as: focusing on site clearance, ensuring security and order, administrative reform, resolving backlogs, completing synchronous urban infrastructure; strongly calling for socialized investment with many suitable forms: public-private partnership (PPP), BT...”.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung and leaders of departments, branches and localities visited the exhibition area of ​​investment promotion publications of Ky Anh town at the 2024 Ha Tinh Spring Newspaper Festival.

Up to now, Ky Anh Town has attracted 152 projects, including 56 foreign investment projects with registered capital of nearly 16 billion USD, 96 domestic investment projects with registered capital of more than 55,000 billion VND. Many large domestic and foreign investors are researching and proposing investment such as: Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan), Vingroup Corporation, HBRE Group, Nha Trang Bay Joint Stock Company...

In the coming time, Ky Anh Town will continue to synchronously implement many solutions to improve the investment environment. In particular, it will focus on reducing procedures and minimizing initial costs for newly established businesses and business households; perfecting mechanisms and policies suitable for all types to attract businesses to invest and develop.
