On September 12, according to the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the final construction package (package number 32) of component project 3, Ring Road 3 section through Dong Nai has completed the selection of contractors.

In which, the consortium including Construction Joint Stock Company 368 and Thanh Phat Construction Company Limited won the bid.

Package 32 is the most valuable part of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Dong Nai. This package has a total length of about 4km, with a total value of over 700 billion VND. The entire route is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 and put into operation in 2026.

Mr. Ngo The An, Director of the Project Management Board, said that the contractor has gathered machinery and is ready for construction. "The advantage of package 32 is that the site is almost ready, so it will quickly catch up with other packages to ensure the overall progress," said Mr. An.

According to Mr. An, the 11.2km-long Beltway 3 component project through Dong Nai has 3 main construction packages, which started on June 18, 2023. The total investment is nearly 2,600 billion VND. It is expected to be completed in 2025 and put into operation from 2026.

The project starts at Km 0+000 in Vinh Thanh commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province. The end point is at Nhon Trach bridge in Long Tan commune, Nhon Trach district (continuing with component project 1A Ring Road 3, Ho Chi Minh City).

Over the past year, two bidding packages, 26 and 29, have been launched, but due to site clearance problems, the output has not been much.

In particular, package 26 in the bridge section has completed the construction of bored piles for piers T3, T4, T5, T6. Currently, the contractor is constructing a part of the body and base of the piers and piers. For the road section, organic excavation and road shaping have been completed in several sections, with the value reaching nearly 10%.

Package 29 completed bored piles for the overpass with provincial road 25C. Construction of pillars T3, T4, T5, and girder casting yard is underway.

Continue to complete the drainage system along route 25C and intersection 25B and bored piles of overpass 25B. On the road section under construction of sewers, engineering, and roadbed compaction on some sections, the value reached over 11%.

"We hope that the locality will soon hand over 100% of the land to ensure construction along the entire route. In addition, we also hope to soon relocate the technical infrastructure on the route. Support the provision of enough sand for the project," Mr. Ngo The An added.
