Construction of Bao Ninh 1 Social Housing Area started

(QTO) - On the morning of August 19, at Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area, Dong Hoi Ward, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, Tien Dat Construction Company Limited and Toan Cau Construction Investment Joint Stock Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for Bao Ninh 1 Social Housing Area. This project is on the list of 250 projects to start construction and inaugurate to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Attending the ceremony were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Dong Hoi Ward Party Committee Pham Thi Han; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Phong Phu and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities.

The project has a total investment of over 500 billion VND, including two 9-storey social housing blocks and two 3-storey commercial service blocks, providing 432 apartments with areas ranging from ^35m2 to ^75m2 . With a construction density of only 28.25%, most of the area is reserved for trees, walking paths, playgrounds, creating a fresh and convenient living environment. This is a key project of Quang Tri province in the field of housing development, aiming to meet the housing needs of the people, while contributing to urban beautification, promoting local socio -economic development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Phan Phong Phu affirmed: Social housing policy is a major policy of the Party and State to ensure social security, create conditions for people, especially low-income workers, industrial park workers and policy beneficiaries to access housing at reasonable prices, contributing to stabilizing life and sustainable development.

He emphasized that the Bao Ninh 1 Social Housing Project marks the close coordination between the government, businesses and people in realizing the goal of developing at least one million social housing units in the 2021-2030 period.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to focus on human resources, equipment, and construction to ensure progress, quality, and absolute labor safety; at the same time, promptly organize the sale, lease, and handover of apartments in accordance with regulations.

Quang Tri province commits to accompany and support in removing difficulties and creating favorable conditions for the project to be completed soon, promoted effectively, and met the legitimate aspirations of the people.
